The one thing we do store
If you pick the light or dark appearance, that choice is saved in your browser's localStorage under syrax-theme. It stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and exists only so the site does not flash the wrong theme when you return. Clearing your browser data removes it.
If this changes
Should we ever add something that sets a cookie, this page will say so and a proper consent mechanism will be in place before it runs.
